As we joyfully enter 2010, here is a recap of recent programs and events:
Intercessory Prayer Partners
Beth Moore Bible Studies including
Esther: It's Tough Being a Woman and
A Woman's Heart: God's Dwelling Place.
Apples of Gold- a group of 6 mentors and 6 mentees that gathers for 6 weeks
Mom's Group- Thursday morning gatherings with childcare provided
Deborah's Daughters- a year long accountability program for developing deeper relationships
Homes of Honor parenting class
Additionally, the women of our church are also actively involved in Family Groups, teaching, worship, children's ministries. Our prayer is that you can find a place to plug in!
In February, we joined together for a "Heart to Heart" program with praise and worship, desserts and service as we made hundreds of Valentines to support the ministries that help serve meals to the homeless population weekly.
In April, a fabulous mini-retreat was held to focus on "mind, body, soul, spirit" with breakout sessions, lunch and fellowship.
In May, we experienced a sense of community as we joined with hundreds of women at Grace United Methodist for a day retreat
Celebrating Our Seasons to listen to Mrs. Tebow and Christy Nockels.
In August, our fall kickoff included fellowship and a chance to kick up our heels with square and line dancing.
In September, the fall women's retreat took a new spin as we endeavored on the first ever Road Trip to Orlando to
Deeper Still with Beth Moore, Kay Arthur and Priscilla Shirer. In addition to the conference, we also enjoyed a fun game night and bible study.
